MONOBLOC CENTRIFUGAL PUMPS WITH MAGNETIC DRIVE MMB-N /MMB-E

Solidity and reliability

The centrifugal monobloc magnetical driven pump, range MMB, has been designed to solve the different problems generated sometimes from the leakage through the mechanical seals, with the consequence to cause serious environmental contaminations. The impeller rotation is possible thanks to a movement transmitted from the coupling through magnetical induction. In order to follow the market demand two different magnetical driven ranges are now available: version MMB-N, to face heavy working conditions with pump support with feet in cast iron version MMB-E, for standard applications, with light support and motor base in stainless steel.

Easy to handle, the pumps of this range are strong, compact construction, produced in their components with high thickness to give a product with the maximum reliability. Suitable to transfer acid and basic solutions, the wet ends, tare produced in thermoplastics (PP-PVDF) and O-ring in the proper elastomer material (EPDM-FPM-FEP). The impellers installed are generally semi-open, but they are available in the closed version for hot liquids and without solids in suspension. Optionally available the dry-running protector.

Exercise temperatures and materials

MATERIALS SELECTION
The materials used in the production of our pumps, are carefully selected based upon the pumped liquids. Each material used must answer at mechanical and chemical characteristics in order to grant the best reliability of the pump. The working temperature is a really important condition, especially because the thermoplastics are materials very sensible to low and high temperatures.

Performances

PUMPS SELECTION
Pumps are selected based on the data transmitted from the Customer. Capacity Q, head H, specific gravity and liquid viscosity, temperature, N.P.S.H. available in the plant are required in order to proceed to the correct pump choice. The choosed pump has to work close to the best efficency point of the curve in order to obtain a reduced energy consumption and to avoid abnormal hydrodynamic situations (cavitations, turbulences, etc.)
